In response to a growing need in the marketplace, Ampere created the Special Projects Division. Special Projects designs solutions for the advancement of the operations of any firm. These solutions are comprised of end to end installations for needs such as power backup generation, ie the provision of auxiliary generator power over and above their safety needs. The team has also designed and created telecommunication systems with the capability of full scale installation from the incoming service demarcation point all the way through networking and individual workstations. Ampere is fully experienced in providing a complete data centre environment such as a raised floor computer room environment complete with AC and DC power, telecomm-unication (copper and fibre) along with associated raceway and rack protection, pre-action and suppression sprinkler systems and mechanical cooling.

We have also been responsible for research and verification labs, nodes of control (NOC), call centres, DC plant, server farms, existing system integration and we work closely with our clients implementing specialized MOPs. These Methods Of Procedure provide a critical path for our clients organization and switch-over, insuring maximum preparedness and minimum disruption. Ampere is also partnering with industry leaders to provide photovoltaic (solar) power solutions to our customers.
